"Enterprising Rural Women Awards 2006"

The Colvend Coast Bed & Breakfast Group were delighted to be short listed as finalists for this award. The awards, now in their sixth year, recognise and reward excellence in rural enterprise.

The Group are unique in that they do not see other neighbouring B&B's as competitors, instead they have joined together to meet regularly and share best practice with the aim of providing a consistently high standard of accommodation and guest care to visitors to the area.

Country Living Magazine editor, Susy Smith said "These awards are the top accolades for women in rural business. They celebrate the drive and ingenuity required to turn a simple idea into a profit-making enterprise.
