About Us

The Colvend Coast Bed & Breakfast Group was formed in 2004 and comprises women who offer neighbouring bed and breakfast accommodation in one of Galloway's most scenic areas.

The Group meets regularly to share tips and best practice with the aim of providing a consistently high standard of accommodation and guest care to visitors to the area.

If you enquire at a members' accommodation and they are full, you will be supplied with a selection of contact details of members with known availability that match your requirements.

All members where possible use local produce for their breakfast menus and aim to be environmentally friendly. The Group has teamed up with other local businesses such as tearooms, craft centres, visitor attractions and restaurants, to offer special deals for guests.

The Group were delighted to have their efforts recognised by Country Living Magazine when they became finalists in their "Enterprising Rural Women Awards 2006". See the news section for more details...
